Your Wedding, Your Way is primarily run by Laura Jayne, a mum of two, wife and an ex primary school teacher who loves nothing more than a good glass of squash (not a tea or coffee fan, sorry!), a rose spritzer (with lemonade), chocolate spread on toast, hot tubs and spa days, and her ear muffs (rather random selection of favourite things there!) There is also a small team behind the scenes who work on particular projects but for the most part, it's Laura Jayne at the forefront.

We are a boutique consultancy service with an eye for detail. We grew out of a love for all things wedding, and all things organised. Laura Jayne is friendly, organised, astute, calm and practical making her the perfect person to entrust your day to. Having been likened to a swan on more than one occasion, we think it's quite fitting - always calm on the outside but underneath it all, running 100 miles an hour to make sure everything is perfect! Having been planning weddings professionally since 2011, Laura Jayne really does have the experience to make your stress free dreams a reality.

We are based in Sevenoaks, in Kent so cover the whole of Kent and a lot of the South East. If you're not sure if we're able to travel to your venue, just shout! Either pop us an email, send a DM in Instagram, a message on Facebook messenger... so many ways to get in touch (although admittedly email is our favourite as it's much easier to keep track of!)

At Your Wedding, Your Way we believe in promoting regulated standards in the wedding industry. We have therefore trained extensively with the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners and are professional members. This also means we follow their code of business practice.

Therefore we will always:

  • Respond to enquiries within 48 hours

  • Respect client confidentiality

  • Disclose any suppliers we have a vested interest in

  • Pass discounts and/or commission onto clients

  • Ensure our Public Liability insurance is up to date

  • Never give client details to any third party not involved with the wedding

  • Respect copyright from fellow wedding professionals

  • Represent each client fairly and honestly

  • Use legally sound business contracts with clients
